Procurement at the Driving Standards Agency

This section contains details on working with the Driving Standards Agency (DSA). Here you will find information on the agency's procurement policies.

1. What we do and partners we work with:
The Driving Standards Agency’s procurement branch is based at its Nottingham headquarters. Its primary purpose is to ensure that the agency secures the best value for money in all of its purchases and, where necessary, in compliance with the European Procurement Directives.

The branch achieves these goals by identifying the most cost effective methods of purchasing and contracting for a wide range of goods and services. This is done in two stages. The first is the advertising, tendering and subsequent award of contracts. The second is contract management encompassing the ongoing monitoring of supplier performance and the quality of goods and services supplied.
